Gooooooooooood afternoon ladies! I am so glad it's Friday, I don't know what to do! It has been one of those emotionally and physically exhausting/draining weeks... but now I have Auburn football and good times ahead with good friends!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness. Much needed "away from home" time! Escape reality for a day and focus on nothing but football. Ahhhhh!

A little recipe for ya...
Good morning to all! I don't know how the weather is where you are, but here in GA it is NASTY! A friend of mine and I got up this morning at 5:00 to go to the gym and it was POURING! I mean BAD! :) (Can we say dedication!!) Yes we can! It was rough but it is very nice to know I have my afternoon to take care of some errands I need to run!
So, I am on this kick of cooking these fun/different meals for my husband. He loves everything (well almost) so he is not hard to please where dinner is concerned. So I usually search the internet daily looking for new fun recipes and yesterday I found like 10 I will be making over the next couple of weeks. But I wanted to share one I made him last night... I wouldn't have thought it was this great and wonderful thing but, he said (and I quote) "This might be the best thing I have ever eaten!" I was so proud to hear that :)
Now I can't testify as to how it was because well... I am one of the pickiest eaters you will ever meet. I mean it is ridiculous. That is actually a good post for another time, but lets just say... my husband and I rarely eat the same thing for dinner. I am usually eating a salad watching him eat the fun things I make. But it doesn't bother me one bit... well... it kinda does. I get on my own nerves sometimes about how picky I am! Anyway... the recipe is called "Saucy Baked Pork Chops" and I will tell you they smelled REALLY good. The ingredients did sound questionable to me, but turns out, all together they are FAB (according to my husband)!
Ok so here you go and if you try it you have to let me know how you or your husband liked it!
Here's what you need:
- 4 to 6 sirloin chops, boneless or bone-in
- seasoned salt and pepper
- olive oil, about 1 tablespoon
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 4 ounces coarsely chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons Creamy Ranch Dressing
- 1 1/2 tablespoons bold and spicy mustard
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Salt and pepper the chops; put in skillet, in batches if necessary, and brown quickly on both sides. Remove to a baking dish lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
To the hot skillet, add chopped onions and mushrooms. Cook, stirring, until onions are browned and just tender. Add chicken broth to the pan. Stir together Ranch dressing and mustard; add to broth. Let the mixture boil for a minute; pour over chops in baking dish.
Cover baking dish with foil and bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Serves 4 to 6.
NOTE: I served it with lemon/garlic broccoli (which he also said was quite tastey!) I will tell you... to cut down on time... I cooked the pork chops til they were pretty much done on top of the stove. Took about 10 minutes. And I also cooked it on 400 degrees. My husband commented on how tender they were. I guess it was the juices from the sauce! I would say total to make the entire dish from start til my husband devoured it... probably took about 35 minutes.
Good luck! :)

Things I am thankful for (even on a yucky Monday)
Well... another Monday. Boo! Something about this day just sucks. But I am trying really hard to stay positive today (take into account I am still freakin sick after being on MANY meds for 5 days now!). I was just sitting here BORED at my desk and was kinda having a pity party then I read a daily blog of mine and got mad at myself for being so whiney! So I am going to make a list of things that I am so thankful for!! Some are silly and some are huge! But here ya go...
I am thankful for...
- a forgiving God that loves me no matter what I do.
- a God that gave me eternal life through salvation.
- a God that is everlasting.
- a wonderful husband that is a Christian and takes such good care of me.
- all the things my husband does for me that go unnoticed by me.
- a husband that is my best friend!
- a Godly mother that has always loved me no matter how many times I disappointed her.
- a mother that is my best friend and I love unconditionally!
- a job that isn't stressful where I have some freedom.
- good friends that are always there when I need to talk.
- Rosemont Baptist Church. It really is a wonderful place to worship.
- the many blessings I receive each day and don't even realize.
- the friends I have that are an inspiration to me.
- the blogs I read. They are an inspiration and don't even realize.
- the freedom to carry, own and read THE BIBLE!
- the freedom to worship.
-my dogs.
- my car.
I could go on and on. But I think I needed to list a few things today to realize how lucky I really am to have the life I have. I complain a lot, but I am thankful for all the good things in my life. Actually I am thankful for everything in my life because everything happens for a reason. All part of God's plan for my life. Right? YES!
I will probably post again later... I have a feeling it's going to be a LONG day!

Near and Dear to my wallet...
So sorry I am just getting to blogging today. That is what having SINUSITIS (basically a freakin' Sinus Infection) for two days will do to you. Completely cuts you off from the real world... except my wonderful husband, who took GREAT care of me and was such a sweetheart ( I can be one helluva whiner when I am running a fever)... and of course my mom (who listened to me whine and bitch and whine and bitch for two days-and constantly petted me over the phone, "My poor baby!"). I will have to blog one day about my wonderful husband and my unbelievable mother! Soon to come! Anyway... there I go not staying on topic again :) So I have been sick and out of commission and I had lots of work to catch up on today but I am here and it's 4:30... 30 more minutes before I am outta here and start my weekend off right... with some antibiotics and Zyrtec and nose spray!! Whoooo... so different from my usual Miller Lite or Margarita!
- If you normally wear a medium, you will probably wear a large in Forever 21
- If you pay $19 for a fabulous skirt, don't expect it to last into next season... or even next month
- Don't feel bad if you can't fit into a size 29 jeans if you normally do... they run like 2 sizes too small. Trust me! :)

My Fluffies... Sweet Angels!!
Let me introduce you to my sweet babies. I know originally I was going to call them Sweet Boy and Precious Girl... but hell we are going to call them by their real names which are... Dansby (named after former Auburn football player Karlos Dansby) and Daizy (named this because I wanted it to start with D and end in Y). They are Shih Tzus are are absolutely ADORED! And you will learn about my obsession with this breed! :)

Thieves SUCK!!!
Hello ladies and hopefully some gents! I just wanted to let everyone know why I haven't posted since Friday.
Monday morning I was the first in the office only to find my laptop missing... Strange I thought! So I began looking to see if my coworkers computers were there. NOPE! Nothing there. So, I began freaking out! Calmly freaking out because I knew what had happened...This is the 6th or 7th time we have been broken into in a year. Someone first broke in our windows and stole our keys to our office. Instead of GENIUS-LY re-keying our office doors, we ignore it (but believe me-much bitchin' has taken place)! So moving on, we don't put up a camera (like we were promised). And let me point out one second that by "we" I mean people that do these things at our job-WE as in our office have no real control-all we can do is freakin ASK ONE THOUSAND TIMES THAT SOMETHING BE DONE!!!!) Ok I'm back (told you lots of bitchin')... we don't re-key our doors, we don't take any measure to prevent this from happening. Honestly, I am not sure why they haven't taken our laptops before! But anywho... All 5 of our laptops have been laid to rest... well not really... someone else made a buck off of them and we are now all VERY INCONVENIENCED!!!!!!!!!! I hope this little thieves get caught. Because when they do... I wanna know where the hell my ipod is (yeah that was stolen three breakins ago!!!) So I promise some FUN blogs tomorrow. We are stuck in a freakin' computer lab all dang day! Not much "work" to be done in there.
Oh and you might say "Well hello you obviously have access to a computer... why no blog for a few days!" And I have an answer... My coworkers and I have been on a "retreat" this week. And by "retreat" I mean... one mile down the road from our office in a small room, talking for a day and a half. I don't mean "retreat" like FUN TIMES! :)
Moving on... We will have new computers Thursday! So things will slowly get back to normal... well then again, when are things ever "normal??"
So tomorrow there are sure to be blogs about some fashion trends I am seeing and some celebs that I am finding pretty dang interesting these days :) Oh yeah and I will prob blog about MY BABIES! :)
Love!
PS--All the red highlighting is my anger coming through :)

...But don't get crazy!!!!
This is my free laugh before this freakin Friday is over! This never gets old to me! It's hysterical! It's from that show MAD TV! Please let me introduce you to Bon Qui Qui... (click on her name below-I can't figure out how to get a dang video on here!)
Bon Qui Qui
Surprise...You might find this interesting! Or NOT!
Ok so most of the time when I am ranting about celebrities and their "fabulous" life (and I use the term fabulous loosely) my husband is either rolling his eyes or looking at me like I am crazy (but bless his heart he at least listens). Most of my friends follow the lives of these people that I apparently find so freakin fascinating, but I have a select few that don't have a clue. And some of you might say, "Why the hell do you care about the lives of these people you don't even know?" (Same question my husband asks). And I don't have an answer for you... well... that's not true I have many answer and reasons why! All I can say is that is makes me feel better sometimes to know that people with beauty, money and fame also have some dysfunction in their lives. I also covet (SIN I know) the clothing they wear, bags they carry, jewelry they "borrow" and shoes they sport. I want to wear those awesome $800, size 0 jeans and $4,000 top while carrying my Balenciaga bag too while shopping on Rodeo Drive! :) REALITY CHECK... (which I give myself often) that ain't happenin'!
Now, please don't think I want someone else's life! I don't! I love my life and all the people in it. It's simply an obsession (ugh-there's that word again-an interest!). I would like to walk in their shoes for a little while. And really it's not even that (well yes, but not just that)... Ok let me see if I can explain a little better because as I just re-read what I typed I am even confused. Ok... some people like watching... let's say the Atlanta Braves... they have a favorite player. Why? Because they are good, not because they know them! So that is how I explain it... no I don't know them.. probably never will... but to me they represent fashion and beauty (I know beauty isn't skinny and rich-trust me I know that!) and they are like a freakin TV show. Their everyday life is like a reality TV show. Drama, Drama, Drama!!!
So even if you aren't "interested" in celeb life... I hope you continue reading my blog. I promise not all posts will be about celebs. I just wanted to explain why I follow their lives so closely! And who knows... you might just find what I say interesting! Woah!
From Blog READER to BlogER!
Well...here we go! This could be interesting, TMI and scary (all at once) to some of you, but here I go. I have been an avid reader of several blogs (thanks to my girls here at work: T, L and A) for several months now and my coworkers and I have become sooo... I want to use the word obsessed but that sounds really crazy/psycho... So I will use the word INTERESTED! But none the less, we have all decided to start our own blogs. They are all sure to be different in nature but creative and fun!
My blog will be filled with excerpts from my ever evolving life (with my new husband-whom in here we refer to as LOVER-and two precious Shih Tzus we will call Sweet Boy and Precious Girl). I can't make promises to you about what you will read here so BEWARE! :) But it will contain LOTS of info about FASHION (a big part of my life), FLUFFIES (I am one of the biggest animal lovers you will ever meet) and FAMOUS people (I am obsessed... I mean VERY INTERESTED)! All of these things are a huge part of my life! Some people might call me CRAZY (my husband!) but I enjoy reading all about new, couture fashion and the lives of celebs! I read the Humane Society website daily and cry almost everyday while doing so! Another thing to know... I am a crier (and occasional cuss-er) :) Random info here: I will discuss some controversial things... but these thoughts are just MY opinions-that's all!
I will go ahead and apologize for incorrect grammer, spelling and the over use of words such as: SOOO and SHUT UP! Also I will go off on tangents so excuse that too (that should already be apparent). And I will use smileys :) Sorry! That's my way of showing you I am happy :)
I will try to keep this blog up to date daily but let's remember I have a full time job, full time husband, full time doggies and full time workout schedule... not to mention I am a busy woman!
So here we go! This is it... my very own blog! Thanks for coming to visit and I hope you will visit daily! Love and War Damn Eagle!
