Yea! I'm so excited about your giveaway! Congrats on your 105th post!

I follow your blog, and we decorate for Christmas with a vintage/nature theme!

Mrs. Newlywed said...

hmmm...our theme this year is "Not Decorating." Haha! We're busy every single weekend between now and Christmas, and it just isn't going to happen.

Maybe I'll make some cookies. I suck.

I am a follower, and I will post your little icon on my blog!

I have a thing for German Nutcrackers. I must have about 35-40 and our tree usually goes along with that. Then I try to get the house filled with the Red Christmas Tartan. it just looks cozy when it is all said and done.

Liana said...

ooh cant wait to hear what the giveaway is! the christmas theme at home is white with gold so tiny white lights and gold ribbon on the tree etc. so beautiful and looks so good amongst the green of the Christmas trees! I am already a follower and will cross my fingers!!

with.much.love said...

This is our first Christmas in our new house, so I am having extra fun buying all new Christmas decorations. I am going for a whimsical green, red and white theme. I was 'inspired' by a wreath ornament I found at Michaels. Can't wait until it's all done!

The Heckathorns said...

Yay for giveaways! :) I'm a faithful follower and I ♥ Starbucks, shoes, wine, and CHRISTMAS! My house is on it's way to being Peppermint themed. LOL! (all the candles are peppermint and the bathrooms both have the Bath and Body works peppermint twist hand soap and lotion! AND I've got tons of peppermints in all my christmas candy bowls! WOO!) I also bought a bunch of "red birds on branches" ornaments at Cracker Barrel b/c someone told me that birds on your Christmas tree is good luck for the next year or something. LOL! (I can use all the luck I can get!) OH, and all the lights are CLEAR! No multi-colors! All you see on my tree are red, gold, silver and white glass balls and peppermint candy canes! (with the ornaments my kids made...only non-themed stuff on the tree)

Gwen said...

Congrats on your 100th!!! I am a loyal follower and I love you blog!!! As far as decoration we do a non-traditional theme with pinks, teal & purples but everything has to coordinate. :)

Mrs. Cup said...

YAY!! Congrats! The giveaway sounds amazing...I really hope I win!

My theme this year is traditional elegance! I just made that up on the spot, but it sounds professional, right? I'll post pictures soon! :) I'm already a follower!

Yay - I love giveaways! Congrats on 105 posts!

We have two Christmas trees. One is very traditional and elegant. It has the sterling silver snowflakes we inherited from Casey's parents as well as the crystal snowflakes we are collecting each year with gold ribbons. We also have a smaller tree in the family room that is pretty random. It has the ornaments we get as gifts and the ones the nieces and nephews have made for us. Most of my house is fairly traditional - with an elegant twist.

KLC said...

how fun, I'd love to enter, and I'm already a follower! :)

My Christmas decorating theme is pretty traditional, our stockings are very victorian-looking and we only use clear lights outside and on the tree

Our Christmas theme is "Its a Wonderful Life" kitsch. I have the whole light up village from the movie (its my favorite EVER), and loads of ornaments and cards having to do with ole George, Mary, and "buffalo gals". Its so sweet, and it always reminds me of the meaning of the season, and how blessed we are!

My decorating theme is rather "Neglectful" this year! I'm going to attempt to put some things out this afternoon, but I have been so busy and haven't been home.

Glad you had a great Thanksgiving! :)

Leslie said...

Ooh...I'm not sure what my theme is. I'd have to say somewhat classic, somewhat modern. Lots of gold, brown, and chartreuse.

Ohhhh I want to win soooo bad!! ::Crossing fingers your hubby draws my name!!:: I am a 'follower' and you're on my blog roll. :)

We have a different "theme" for every room in the house. The two I love the most are the bathroom: "winter wonderland"--with lots of snowmen. Our living room could be called "The outside in" (Cause that's where our tree is..it's HUGE and has lots of pretty balls on it)

I want to winnn!!

Being Brazen said...

congrats on 105 blog post :)

My christmas theme this year is going to be "homemade and simple". I think i will go with a small little potted tree - so i dont have to throw it out after christmas. maybe i will make some christmas decorations or use anything twinkly around the house to decorate it....that kind of thing :)

Sarah said...

at ou rplace we are just doing a green, gold, silver, and dark red theme! I have red christmas candles on gold, red, and green trays and sparkly pinecones with them... i guess ours is a christmas color theme...!? I also put the sparkly pine cones in vases. Someday I'll have a real theme!

Tracy's Porch said...

Fun, fun, fun - count me in!

I have two different themes or "looks" for our downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs the tree is the "fancier" themed tree. I call it the Doggie Tree - and it has all gold balls, bows and dog ornaments (mostly Golden Retrievers) and little stuffed dogs. All the packages under the tree have to be wrapped in some combo of green and gold and all the packages have wire ribbon bows. I try to keep the dowstairs with the green and gold colors.

The upstairs is more whimsical and child friendly with the tree having all our random ornaments. I love Christmas!!!

Mrs.B said...

I am going to go with "Silver Bells"... everything is mostly Red & Silver. I have been following you :). Can't wait for the post!!

Lindsey said...

What an exciting giveaway! I can't wait to find out what it is!! Of course, I am a loyal follower of your blog. I'm not really sure what my theme is this year. Our tree is decorated with red and gold ornaments and some icicles too. It looks great, but no theme. Next year I plan to do one though!

Bama Belle... said...

First, you already know I am a follower. Second, thanks for the congrats on the game. I honestly thought it would have been a close game. We were sitting in the AU section and I'm honestly surprised that I didn't get a cup or something thrown at my head for cheering so loudly! I definitely thought about you during the game. This was my first game to go back to school for since I graduated so I was estatic from 9:30am on...

As for Christmas decorations, since I am never here to enjoy them long enough I do very little decorating. One day though...once I have more space and more cash flow.

Have a great week :)

It is hard to say what my Christmas Decoration Theme is...right now it is "Don't put anything out that you would heartbroken about if your 3 year old breaks it" Theme. In general I guess we are pretty traditional with stockings, wreaths, santa's, nativity scene, and snowmen....boy that sounds like a lot...but it is not all in the same areas.

This is by far my favorite time of the year. Hope you are having a great week. Oh, and sorry about your team losing, I know how it feels - I am a USC fan and our loss to rival Clemson was not a fun one!

I still havent put my Christmas tree up, maybe this weekend. Oh yeah and we like to wrap our presnts in the same wrapping paper so its very coordinated and this year we are going with candy cane striped wrapiing paper I cant wait to post pictures.

A giveaway!!! Woo hoo!!! :-)) I don't celebrate Xmas anymore but one thing I do have up year round is xmas lights. I love how bright and colorful they are and how they cheer a place up. Now, because I moved (I won't mention that that was last year) I haven't put up the lights yet but it is on my to-do list for this month. So my theme? 'Colorful'!

I guess I don't really have a Christmas theme but It is just about our personalities... Every year I go out the day after X-mas and buy 1 ornament that fits our hobby or personality that year such as last year it was his Golf so it was a golf ball, and the year before that it was Santa jet-skiing, and for me it was a Snowman Nurse because I was in the nursing program.... My daughter started school last year so she started to bring home things she made to decorate it with also so I guess you could so my tree is a STORYTELLING TREE!
