Seriously, where do I start?

Not blogging for a whole week has killed me and now I have so much to say that I will have to do it over several posts. Also, I promise I am reading all of the week worth of posts I missed, but commenting slows me down, so I will get back on the commenting as soon as I catch up on my reading :)
Let me first say that our 1st Marred Christmas was nothing short of SPECTACULAR!!! More details to come on that very soon!
I do want to share how my wonderful 6 Days off for Christmas started...

Last Monday, I had been making plans all day to shop in Atlanta on Tuesday. Just some last minute things. I was also going to have my engagement ring and wedding bands cleaned while I was there. So I had a packed Tuesday planned, all by my lonesome! I had also been planning a CRAZY workout sessions for that Monday. I was pumped about it. P-U-M-P-E-D!! I desperately needed a good workout and I was planning to run til I passed out! Hubs had sent me an email Monday morning saying he had a surprise for me that night, but didn't say what. By 3:00 that afternoon, I was CONVINCED I was getting a GOLDENDOODLE!! I had mentioned it in emails a few times and he didn't shoot it down. So I though, maybe!! Well, 4:45 pm gets here and my husband walks in my office in a suit (typically he wears slacks and polos or button downs to work). I was so confused. He then told me that he had planned us a romantic night in downtown Atlanta. I was SHOCKED and so surprised. He did a GREAT job planning and getting things in order. He had packed my bags for me (that is a post in and of itself), took the dogs to my in-laws and had come to pick me up to whisk me away to a night by ourselves, stress-free, in ATL! I get in my car to take it home and there sat the most beautiful bouquet of roses... how sweet is that?? We stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Downtown Atlanta. Which, by the way, is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. He then presented me with one of my Christmas gifts. I had emailed this to he and my mom in case they needed help for Christmas gifts :) He had to call several Nordstroms to get it because the one in ATL was sold out. I am pretty sure he told me the one I have came from a Nordstrom in California. :) How precious is he?? My gift he gave me is here. So I got all dressed up and we went for a wonderful dinner at Trader Vics. It's such a cool restaurant and they serve so many different dishes, but of course, I had to change my order to fit my pickiness and diet, so I had teriyaki chicken over white rice. It was sooo yummy!! We then retired to our room to watch some trashy television and enjoy the beautiful view from our room. It was wonderful. The next morning, he dropped me off at Lenox Square Mall where I shopped while he went to take my rings to be cleaned. (again, how precious??) Then we headed over to Perimeter Mall so I could hit up a few more stores :) It was a VERY successful day! And I enjoyed some time away from Smalltown, GA with no stress, just me and my husband!! We lead busy busy lives and it was great to get away for a day!
But of course, we got back Tuesday and it was back to the grind or CRAZINESS!! I was bound and determined to workout (since he stole me from me super duper planned workout Monday) so we rushed home, threw on some workout clothes and off we went to the gym. I ran my tail off... then we rushed (sweaty and all) to his dad's birthday dinner. Yes, I went sweaty and looking like pure CRAP to his dad's dinner. I had to workout yall. Yes, I realize this is borderline obsessive. I have come to realize that my working out has become a #1 priority for me, above some things it shouldn't be above.

So that is pretty much how my pre holiday days went :) I have much to blog about so make sure to check back with me!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (or holiday) and that you were all so blessed. I know I sure did and sure was!!

Hugs!

Who??

Who was up at 2:55 AM this morning because his/her dog was sniffing and snorting around the bed like he does when he has to poop??

Who was up at 3:00 AM shining his/her cell phone to see what said dog was doing, only to find him circling like he always does right before he poops??

Who was up at 3:01 AM yelling for said dog to go outside??

Who was standing in 19 degree weather with thin pants on and a short sleeve t shirt waiting on said dog to poop??

Who had to wipe poo off of said dog's hiney when he came in because SOMEONE fed him scraps from the table during Christmas at MawMaws??

Who gagged several times getting the poo off of said dogs hiney??

Who will be making said dog a hair appointment very soon so he/she no longer has to wipe poo off of it because said dogs hair is WAY TOO LONG??

Who, then woke up every 5 minutes scared said dog was going to poo in the floor because of his/her upset stomach??

Ummm... YEAH... that would be ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great start to this Monday morning!! But hey, at least it's my last day to work until NEXT MONDAY! Yippee!!

Trans Siberian Orchestra was AMAZING... if you have a chance today go here and please watch this!!! They are by far the most talented band I have ever heard play live!! It was break taking!! I have decided that it is NECESSARY for me to see them once a year until I die. Even if you don't like rock music, I promise you, you will love this!! Go check it out and if you ever get a chance to see them live, GO!!! GO GO GO!!! I promise it's sooo worth it!
Mom and I were on the 8th row on the floor. Absolutely amazing to see that up close! Two years ago (our first time seeing them live) we were in the upper deck! So it was great to be so close and see everything right in our face!!

I won't be on Blogger very much the rest of the week. But I am gonna do my very best to schedule some posts for the week. :) But sadly I probably won't be reading/commenting very much! Tomorrow I will be shopping, Wed/Thurs I will be celebrating our Lord, Jesus Christ's Birthday with family, family and more family!! And Friday, I have a feeling I will be resting/sleeping :)

So MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your families and get everything you wished for!!

Love & Hugs!!

Trans Siberian Orchestra

My mom and I are headed to The Summit & The Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama today for a little last minute/bum around shopping before we head off to the Trans Siberian Orchestra Concert! I am so pumped. We went two years ago and you wanna talk about getting in the Christmas Spirit!! This will do it. They are absolutely amazing. So talented!! It gives me chills the whole show!! If you don't know anything about them and you enjoy rock/classic music, you can read all about them here. They are TOTALLY AWESOME :) I am leaving Hubs behind here in GA to do some last minute shopping stuff and to take care of our pups :)

Tomorrow Hubs and I will be headed off to our first "FIRST CHRISTMAS" together! It's at my Maw Maw Clark's. She's my last grandparent alive and she isn't in great health, so we will make it a wonderful one for sure. It's a "bring a dish" type deal so I will be bringing a Buffalo Chicken Dip (which is now my signature) and something else, haven't decided what! We always play Dirty Santa. This year, Hubs and I are taking a $25 gift card to Olive Garden and a bottle of their YUMMY salad dressing and an AWESOME Car Wash kit! Hopefully everyone else will bring fun gifts. We have a $25 limit. So it's always lots of fun "stealing" from others!! ha. And then of course you know how everyone usually brings all the "little kids" a gift. Well we don't have any "little kids" (yet-my brother is 38 with no kids and will never have any, my cousin is 21 and not even married so I will be the first to bring a little one into the fam-can't wait) so we all give my grandmother something :) She is getting two framed pictures from our wedding. One of me, her and Hubs. And one of her and my brother (Joey-the one I am closest with-my mom's only son). So it's always fun to see her reaction to her gifts!! I'm sure to have pictures on Monday :)

I hope you all enjoy your weekend. And if you are traveling be safe out there! Hugs!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

My dear real life friend at Tweet Tweet, Chirp Chirp send me an email this morning with this subject:

"Try not to pee your pants"

Before I opened the email I thought, "Hmm, what could this be about?"

I opened it and I ALMOST PEED MY PANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (thanks for the warning Buh, or I might not have been able to say "almost"!!!)

BETSEY JOHNSON is bring a line to either Target or H& M!!!! Both stores, of which I love! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I am dying over here. She is literally one of the most talented designers EVER (in my opinion)! I love love love her funky style and I admire her willingness to take chances in fashion. I always try to do the same! I desperately want to own one of her dresses before I die!!! Actually I WILL OWN ONE. I don't care if I have to NOT EAT for a month just to be able to own one! (Hubs-I am sorry, but it might have to happen. Maybe PB&J sandwiches for a month or so)!! :)

I just had to share the news with you all! I am so freaking pumped I don't know what to do!! I can't wait for the official announcement to where it will be. I will be AT WHATEVER STORE waiting when the doors open, where ever it is!!! Whooooo! Can you tell how excited I am!! :)

This comes from her website and THIS IS WHY I LOVE HER SO!!!

New York designer Betsey Johnson has built her long-standing career in fashion by following her own set of rules. Known for her celebration of the exuberant, the embellished, and the over the top, Betsey has been rocking the fashion industry with her unique and original designs since the 1960’s. Her commitment to remain true to her one-of-a-kind vision has afforded Betsey continued success in an industry known for its fickleness. Her ability to change with the times while keeping her designs pure has not gone unnoticed.

Here are a few I would love to own!!

Seriously...

Come on! Is it seriously 75 degrees here in Smalltown, GA today! Oh my gah. I am wearing a skirt, pumps and thin long sleeve sweater and I am SWEATING MY A** off! It's one week away from Christmas and it's 75 degrees. I could have seriously (no lie) laid out today and got a nice tan! Most people would not complain about this weather and I hate to because I know our friends up north and even to out west are getting pounded by snow, but it's Christmas time and it's hard to get all in the Winter-y/Christmas spirit with it being so dang hot. I mean, might I finish my Christmas shopping this weekend in Birmingham, AL with shorts on???? I just might!

And I want to thank Newlywed Central for this sweet, sweet blog award. The things that she said about me are so sweet. I am truly bless to be able to call her a real friend. We talk through email and we communicate weekly, and not just on Blogger. She is an amazing woman that has so many gifts God has given her. Her blog is a wonder to read. She is an inspiration to me, that's for sure! So thank you Newlywed Central. And I am glad that we are friends! It's amazing how many sweet people I have met through blogging. Some that I talk to often and really do consider friends. I talk about you to Hubs like we have known each other for years. (And thankfully he no longer things I am CRAZY CRAZY!!)
I am not going to nominate my friends today, but I will. I have some GREAT friends in mind for this one! I can nominate 8-10 and that will be hard to only pick 10 but like I said. I definitely have relationships outside of Blogger with some of you and I am so grateful for that! Even though we don't see each other or talk on the phone, I consider you to be my real friends!!
Nominations to come later! It's been a crazy, HOT, day here in GA! :)

WWW

This will be quick & fast!!

I just have to first say that The Biggest Loser Finale was AMAZING! Talk about inspiration, if you don't watch that show, you should. It is the swift kick in the a** I need every week to keep me on track and last night was no exception! Phil & Amy looked GREAT! They were my favorites! And they kicked butt! They both looked so much younger and hott :)

Michelle looked fantastic. I was soooo glad she won! I was quite disappointed that Heba won the $100,000 but I didn't want Ed to win the $250,000 and they take home both. I wanted Amy to win the $100k so bad! oh well! She looked fantastic. Amy C and her mom Shellay looked crazy good. I couldn't get over Shellay and her skinny minny body! WOW!

This show is my ADDICTION! Hubs isn't a big fan, but I was thrilled to see it's coming back in January. Hubs, not so much! :)

Check out the winner and her mom. Absolutely amazing. You can see more before and after pics and transformations here.

My "biggest loser" status is I am down 3 more pounds. I didn't really MEAN to lose that this week and I am really not sure how I did. But according to my scale, I did! So yippee! So I am down 21 pounds. Crazy! And I have to say that staying on the band wagon since coming off of my pills hasn't been as hard as I thought, which goes to show it has a lot to do with will power and your state of mind! I am in the for the long haul! FOREVER! We have a work Christmas party tomorrow and I will be making my famous Buffalo Chicken Dip. It is PHENOMENAL, but I won't be having any. Thank goodness I don't eat most of what people are bringing. :) I will be good to go. might have a bite of one or two things, but I won't allow myself to have too much! I just can't! Some people say I am depriving myself of the things I love. I say, NO, I am allowing myself to have what it NEEDS, not what I WANT!! Eating what I WANTED got me where I was 3 months ago!

Well ladies, I am off to Body Pump! Lots to do tonight on the home front. Lots of baking for tomorrow's party! :) So that should be fun for me and my stomach-haha!

What a FABULOUS morning

The FIRST thing I see this morning is all of your sweet comments about our First Newlywed Christmas Decor. Yall are all so sweet and I am so blessed to "know" you all!!

The SECOND thing I see is where Mrs. Guru left me a comment saying "You Won. You Won!" So I rush over to look at her blog and I DID WIN!! I won her 100th Post Giveaway. Yippee!!! I mean what are the odds? I have no idea how I missed seeing that on her Sunday post. I blame it on the holiday season, being kinda crazy these days & work! But I am soooo excited! It absolutely made my day! I can't wait to receive my stocking filled with goodies! Whoooo! Thank you so much Mrs. Guru and thank you to the Random Number Generator :)

The THIRD thing I see this morning is that Gwen at Confessions of a Control Freak left me a sweet comment and told me that her baby Fritz tagged Dansby to play a game! (Thank you Fritz) So cute and you know I am playing :) (er... Dansby is playing! And he is sooo excited.)

Here are the rules:

1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself.
4. Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.
5. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

Dansby says:

1. I love love love when Law and Order SVU comes on and I can howl at the top of my lungs to the intro music. No one else understand why I ONLY do this to SVU and not CI or regular ol' Law and Order. I mean obviously SVU is my favorite and I just get so excited when i see Olivia on there (she's hott!)

2. I hoard things from my sister Daisy. And sometimes just so she can't have anything, I will hide my treat/toy in the corner and cover it up with make believe dirt and then take hers and play with it! I am the king of the house!

3. I am a genius. But I do it all for treats. My mom and dad think I am so dang smart. They tell me to sit, I sit. They tell me to roll over, I roll over. They tell me to beg, I beg. They tell me to talk, I say "Mama". They tell me to dance, I get on my back legs and dance in circles. I am a pure genius. However, what they don't know is I only do all this because they have yummy treats in their hands. I wouldn't do a dang thing if the didn't have treats :)

4. I am very independent. But when I want to love on you, I want to lick all over your face and bury my head in your neck. I like hugs, but on my time!

5. I secretly love my crate. Don't tell mom and dad though. I get in it every morning before mom even tells me to. It's my safe haven. And then mom went and got my sister Daizy and now I have to share my safe haven. GREAT!

6. I secretly ADORE my sister Daizy. I am her protector. I even tried to beat up a bulldog twice my size because he was sniffing of her and I thought he was going to hurt her. I am a 12 pound bad ass! And don't you forget it :)

First Married Christmas Decor

I have noticed lots bloggers posting their Christmas decorations so I thought, HEY, why not!! No one has even seem my decor except my mom and dad. That's how dang busy we have been! Sad I know! I plan to have some people over before all my hard work comes down :) I have lots of pictures, because well... we decorated a lot! My theme is really all over the place. But my Kitchen theme is "12 Days of Christmas" and my living room is "Whimsical & Whatever"! Our office theme is "Auburn Christmas" and our bedroom theme is "12 Days" too! Might I love Christmas?? YES I DO! So here we go!

Let's start with the kitchen!

This is what I like to call my "Wine Holder Table" it hold all of our wine/liquor in the bottom!

This is my precious Snowman Cookie Jar & Whimsical Martini towel set :)

My kitchen table and all it's "12 Days" decor.

My "12 Days" China by Pfaltzgraff. I have the plates and mugs. I love it!

My newest addition... I love my kitchen buffet. It hold several "12 Days" pieces!

These are my Waterford "12 Days of Christmas" Champagne Flutes! I am IN LOVE with these. I started collecting them 3 years ago. Each year they come out with one more. I am up to 4. Only 8 are out right now! We don't drink much champagne so I sit them out for display :) They are beautiful. They each come with a little charm of what "Day" it is!

These were my moms from the 1980's. She passed them on to me since my theme is "12 Days"! I love these and will always cherish them!

These are my "12 Days" napkins from William Sonoma! I almost passed out when I saw one of my favorite stores had TONS of 12 Days stuff. Mom got me the napkins!!

Our tree! Yippee!

Yall (well most) know I love monkeys! Mom gave me this last year! It's one of my faves!

My mom has been giving me one of these each year since they started these in 1998. They are Hallmark and each year it's a snowman and some kind of animal! (I wonder why she got these??) :)

This is my "Partridge in a Pear Tree" House of Hatten by Denise Calla ornament. I have all 12. They are probably my most favorite Christmas item I have! President Bush has them . They are discontinued.

"Seven Swans a swimmin'"

Daizy and Dansby's ornament! It's a shih tzu in a stocking :)

My mom started this for Adam and I this year. It's a Hallmark new series of "Nutcrackers". The first one is Santa :) It's a new tradition she wanted to start us!

I just love this one. I think I got it at my Christmas shower last year!

I loooove this ornament! It's Noah's Ark!

Our mantle and polka dotted stockings. And of course our puppy stockings! They have paws on them!

Mantle has a definite whimsical theme. I love my stocking holders. I got them at my Christmas shower last year! Along with Snowmen :)

More mantle :)

One of our side tables in the living room. I love Nutcrackers!! :)

My 12 Days of Christmas Books and my little nativity scene!

Our Office has the Auburn Tree with all Auburn ornaments!

Mr. Auburn Santa and Snowman!

The Auburn stocking!

The tree in our room! It has 12 Days of Christmas balls and silver mirror balls on it!

Our side door (the one we use most) and our star!!!

And last but not least! My HOMEMADE wreath! On our front door! I made this and I am quite proud of it! :)

AND THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS THE TOUR OF THIS NEWLYWED'S HOME!!!

Shock & Awe!

Imagine pulling out of your driveway and seeing a dead animal in your front yard. (And imagine being the animal lover I am) I was devastated. I had no idea what it was. No IDEA!! I was too panicked to focus. I first walked as close as I could because at this point I am wondering if it's a dog or deer. If it was a dog, I would be scooping this BIG dog into my trunk and off to the vet we would go. I was so afraid of what I would see if I got closer. I was about 6 feet from the poor baby, when I realized it was a deer. Not that I was relieved or anything but if this would have been a dog I would have stroked out. I, at this point, was crying for this baby (it wasn't so much a baby as a large deer-but to me they are all babies). I could have sworn I saw him breathing. But then I thought maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me through my tears. I am almost 100% sure he wasn't. Even if he was what was I going to do. I couldn't lift this deer into my car by myself. Now, imagine, driving by this crazy lady standing on the side of the road (we live off of a kinda main road, not really heavy traffic, but while I stood there in shock for 5 minutes or so at least 6 or so cars came by). I was standing 6 feet from the road in a skirt and high heel knee boots just staring at the ditch. Because from the road (in a car) you couldn't see the deer. It's kind of like a small embankment then a ditch (hard to explain/understand I know). I called Hubs, because at this point I am freaking out. Not knowing what to do. He calls the city and has them come pick it up. I don't think I could have gone home unless they came to get it. He just called to say they got it. Poor little baby deer. I don't know about where you live, but here in Smalltown, GA, freaking deer are everywhere. Why, oh why do they think they can cross the road without getting killed! It is beyond me!

Ok, sorry for the sad story. I know some people think I am crazy as hell, but I really do just have a soft spot in my heart for all animals!!

Speaking of animals... my In-Laws just got a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy. I am flipping!! Hubs called to tell me, and I immediately said... "Go get me one!!" I have ALWAYS wanted one of these babies (well really what breed don't I want??)! These are the most precious things ever (well besides my shih tzus)!! If you don't know what they look like, here's a pic: (I will try to get a picture tonight when we go over there so I can steal it... er... I mean see it!)

My weekend was pretty easy going. Friday night we went to the hockey game and that was fun. It's weird though being at a sporting event you know nothing about. It was interesting for sure. We saw at least 6 fights that I am convinced are pre planned. The guys looked like they were boxing not throwing down like I imagined!
Saturday, Hubs and I slept in (much needed) and then Christmas shopped all day. It was fun! Then that night, we just ate dinner at home and watched "Wanted" (which by the way if you haven't seen-GO RENT IT! It's amazing) and "Step Brothers" (by far one of the funniest movies ever made!!). Sunday it was off to church and then lunch and I parked my hiney on the couch around 2 and didn't move the rest of the day. It's fun pretending like you have nothing to do!! Rest was much needed this weekend and definitely appreciated!
Well In an hour I am off to work my butt off. Because of sickness and family being in town last week I only worked out Monday and Tuesday. I guess every now and then we all deserve a little time off from the gym, but it felt/feels really weird to have been out that long... I never allow myself to do that. So it's back to it (sigh!)...
PS-this week I promise to give you the "Christmas Tour" of our house! Pictures must be taken tonight :)

Lilly Pulitzer "Sandpiper" Dress in Lilly Palooza Print

On sale at Bloomingdales from $328 to $157.44! (you have to use the code SAVEMORE at checkout to get this price)

Again, I am typically not attracted to Lilly style but this is precious! And might I add would look FABULOUS with the Jimmy's above :)

Ok, now that that's out of my system... I have a recipe to share with you... I cooked it last night for Hubs and my parents. It is so simple and sooo YUM! Mom and dad came in town for dinner and to go see Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Gardens. If you have never heard of it, click on the link above. It's very well known in the southeast. People come from hours away to see it. It's beautiful. Over eight million lights! It's crazy! Not that I haven't been already, but I am officially in the Christmas spirit after last nights fun! Here is the recipe ladies... and beware, your husband might request this over and over :)

Barbecue Roast:

Ingredients:

- About 3 lbs Roast (any will do) I used chuck because that was what was affordable. Brisket does not work well.
- ½ bottle of liquid smoke (I used Mesquite flavor, but either is fine) you can find this in the barbecue, Worcestershire, steak sauce section
- 1 bottle of favorite barbecue sauce. I used Cattlemen's (this has become my favorite) Your barbecue sauce is the most important ingredient for the flavor of your barbecue.

I cut the fat off the outside of the roast before I start. (and this activity is now why I won't eat this anymore-I kept saying how sorry I was to the cow-I told yall I was super weird about meat!) Put your roast on in the crock pot. Pour ½ bottle of liquid smoke over the roast. Cook on low 8 – 10 hours (longer if making more). Your meat should easily pull apart with a fork. If your meat isn’t falling apart, turn your crock pot on high and cook longer. Pour off excess liquid. I try to take out as much of the fat as I can at this point, but there won't be much on it if you cut if off at first. I didn't have hardly any at all! Stir in barbecue sauce and continue to heat for at another 30-60 minutes.

TADA! That's it! I served it with mashed potatoes, corn and baked beans! While everyone else was munching down on this, I was enjoying my ever so yummy LC Pizza :) It's so funny how I am loving to cook more and more, but won't eat any of it! Strange I know! ;)

Have a great weekend ladies. I am off tonight to a hockey game (my first one). Should be interesting. Watching a good fight, while drinking a good beer... sounds good right about now! TGIF!

And HAPPY 8 MONTH ANNIVERSARY HONEY!!! Love you!

Good luck ladies!!

Ask and you shall receive!

Several of you sweet girls ask me to post before & after pictures of my weight loss journey! I can't believe I am about to do this, but why not. Now, it won't be a bikini picture as I would NEVER have that much confidence to show my belly :) (and plus there obviously are some creeps that look at our blog-remember the creepy email)?? I have worked hard and I should actually look at the "before" picture often actually to remind me what I don't want to be! Now I want to put a, sort of, disclaimer on here... I never really thought I was "fat." I was just imply unhappy with the way I looked. We all see ourselves differently than others see us. No one ever really called me "fat," it was just that my clothes were getting snug and way uncomfortable and I just was miserable in my own body. So I took control of myself and worked really hard and made MANY sacrifices to get where I WANTED TO BE! This loss and change was for ME and my health, not for anyone else, not to impress anyone (my husband always has told me everyday how beautiful he thinks I am), not to be the way the tabloids tell us we "should" be... I did this for me! I don't want you all thinking I did this to be a particular size... I did this because I was unhappy, ME! No other reason!

And what I have learned from getting healthy is that I really would LOVE to turn this into a career. I am very passionate about working out and eating right and helping others achieve their goals. So who knows, maybe I somehow can turn this into a career. I would love to!

That being said... here are my before and after pictures!!

That first pictures is the day of my birthday (Sept. 20). We were at a wedding in Houston! That was probably me at my biggest ever (I will guess around 165/size 10). The one on the right is from a wedding we went to Nov. 22. Almost 20 pounds dropped and weighing in at 146/size 6/8.
Until today I haven't looked at a "before" picture. And wow I really can tell a difference. My face, my arms... wow!

The 1st is taken on my birthday at the wedding in Houston. The second was this past weekend at my friend J's reception. I can' t get over my face. I look so swollen in the 1st picture.

Anywho, thank you to all of my bloggy friends for your sweet and kind words. You all have been very encouraging and I REALLY do appreciate that! I am lucky to have met some wonderful girls here on Blogger that I am proud to call my friends! :)

WWW & My Wish List

Well today I weighed in and I am proud to say I didn't gain this week! I didn't lose either. But at this point, I am not REALLY trying to lose so much as maintain! My personal goal weight was 140 but my Dr's goal weight for me was 146. Well I am there. So I have made I guess what you can call GOAL 1! The other goal will come off with time I think. I am in no huge hurry though. As of today I am 146!

So I wanted to share some things that since losing weight have bugged me! NOTE--I am not complaining about losing weight AT ALL, I am simply pointing out things that are currently bugging me!! Believe me, I WILL NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT LOSING WEIGHT! :)

- None of pants/skirts/shorts/jeans fit! I mean yay right! But I don't have thousands of dollars to replace all these things. And believe me, I have a collection of clothes... collected over time? yes. but a collection nonetheless.
- I recently got this comment: "You are too skinny! Your face looks sunk in and it makes you look older!" Ok I am pretty sure a size 6/8 on a 5'9" person isn't TOO SKINNY! And mu face for sure isn't sunk in. It's just thinner. But thanks for making me feel OLD!
- Some of my friends think I am an idiot for losing weight so they make negative comments about it. HELLO... can I get some support here?? I think sometimes people forget the DRASTIC measures people take to lose weight, so if I am doing it the healthy way, support me!

Now one big thing that has been making me super happy about this weight loss lately is that I am getting asked more and more... "You've lost weight haven't you? I can really tell!"

So that let's me know all of my hard work and dedication is paying off! Sometimes you think it's all for nothing, then I have to remind myself that I did this for ME. I did it so when I get pregnant (hopefully) next year that I will have less weight to lose after I have the baby!

Workouts have been good! We've been doing our normal schedule. But those 5 am workouts have come to a halt until this cold weather goes away! But tomorrow we will be getting up early because we have plans tomorrow night (more on that tomorrow).

How did you all do this week? I know it's hard this time of year with all the Christmas parties, but one thing I have been doing is eating before I go so I am not hungry when I see all the yumminess around me :)

Ok, now I wanted to share my wish list for Santa (in case he reads this)! I realize some of these things are a long shot but hey... it's Santa so I am shooting for the moon here!

Have mercy Betsey Johnson. I loooove these!!
