APPLES and WINE!
Women are like apples on a tree! The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men don't want to reach for the good ones because they're afraid of falling and getting hurt. So instead, they just take the apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy to get... The apples at the top of the tree think there's something wrong with them, when, in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along - one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.
Men, on the other hand, are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes... and it's up to women to stomp the shit out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.
This made me giggle and I thought I would share!! Perfect for all of my single friends out there! This is so so true!!
Hey girls!! It's been a while since I did a maternity wear post so I thought I would share some of my recent and most loved maternity stuff :)!

So pretty for summer and early fall! And great for work! :)
As my sweet friend Brittany put it today...
Dear Monday,
You really like to try and ruin my relationships with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, don't you? You're like that obnoxious friend who interrupts our conversation with, "What are you guys talking about? Huh? Huh?!" and then proceeds to tell lame jokes that only you laugh at...
Sincerely,
Your Obligated Friend
Do you want me to make your Friday??? Are you ready for some serious good news??? This is HUGE! Hands down, the best news I have heard in the shopping/fashion world since I found out Alexander McQueen was designing a line for Target! The best part is I won't be pregnant anymore when this happens!! So I will actually get to shop for some NON MATERNITY clothes :) yay!
I've noticed that since I got pregnant some of our "friends" have fallen off the face of the earth! We don't ever hear from them or see them! It's so strange to me, but it's part of life I suppose! Now, granted that a good many of these friends are single, not married, no kids! So I guess it's to be expected a little! I mean... they are at the bars getting all crazy and we are at home, nesting and house renovating :)
I got this email this morning and it really hit home with me so I thought I would share! It has great wisdom and really made me think! I am constantly evaluating the company that I keep. I need/want friends that enrich my life, not bring me down! I have spoke before about how when I moved to GA I never really gained that many GOOD friends. I have a few but it's strange coming from a place where I had so many! So this email really made me thankful for the few I have!! :)
ENJOY!
It Is Better To Be Alone, Than In The Wrong Company.
Tell me who your best friends are, and I will tell you who you are.
If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights.
A mirror reflects a man’s face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.
The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate for the good and the bad. The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve.
Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity.
An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people.
As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are.
Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl.
Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream.
Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you.
Consider This:
Never receive counsel from unproductive people.
Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how.
Not everyone has a right to speak into your life.
You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person.
Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere.
With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it.
Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life.
Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.
Choose to rise...Don't settle...and go for your dreams!!! And most of all let God lead you in everything you do.
"Do not ask God to order your footsteps, if you are not willing to move your feet."
... any and all suggestions on crib bedding for our little girl!
I keep going back and forth on what I like, what I want, blah blah blah!! So I am bringing my indecisiveness to my blog and begging (at this point I am not above this) for some advice! I literally, am pleading for your help!
Send me some websites you like or point me in some kind of direction! I don't know why, but this decision is been the toughest one yet.

Today is my sweet Daizy's 4th birthday!! We will be celebrating with many doggie treats and her traditional birthday hamburger! :)
We all remember this post right?? Well, let me say, I have come a LONG way since April 27th (the day the post was written)!
Sorry I have been so MIA since my posting about our sweet little girl! I have been in kind of a blogging slump, not to mention extremely busy with life, house renovations, and work!
House renovations... well we have painted lots of things... planted some things... and the front of our house is ALMOST where we want it. A little landscaping left and we will be all ready for our big reveal of before and after of our home! We are slowly making this house our home! The master bathroom on the other hand is a different story. We have the wallpaper down but serious sheet rock was torn down so there are many repairs to be done, and Adam has to do those because well, I have no idea about walls and crap :)
It's going to be a while before our house is truly where I want it. But we are getting there slowly. I mean I keep reminding myself that I am blessed to even be able to own a home and that I am not a millionaire or EVEN KINDA CLOSE! So we have to do things on a schedule as we have the budget to do them! And with a baby on the way, all the budget can't go for house renovations... we have a babies room to decorate.
Speaking of... I can not decide what I want to do for decor in her room! I think I make a decision then I change my mind! I am driving myself crazy! Here are a few of my inspirations. I can't decide which way to go! Ahhhh, but it's fun looking!
